Director of Global Clinical Safety Operations

Our firm is in search of a Doctor of Medicine or Science- based Ph.D with several years experience in the medical device/biologics or pharma industry. The director is responsible for planning and implementing policies, procedures, practices and strategy for the Clinical Safety functions across the company's clinical research institute.

Key roles and oversight include: standard procedure and safety template development, adverse event report and adjudication process, input and outputs for clinical studies and reports, safety event review and notification process for clinical studies and post-commercial release.

This position coordinates AOP/departmental planning, provides the clinical strategies to ensure appropriate implementation of key business initiatives, and is responsible for costs/methods/employees. The position provides the Clinical Safety Operations interface and represents the company both internally and externally.

The successful candidate should also have 3 years of direct experience in safety surveillance, 3 years clinical practice experience and 5 years of people mgnt experience. It is important for the successful candidate to have excellent communication skills with physician staff.

This is a position that involves the management of people and budgets. Global team consists of 20 direct reports in which these folks are clinical research professionals.

The successful candidate should also have advanced knowledge of safety concepts, ICH and FDA guidelines related to the management of safety data and reporting, advanced knowledge of US and international regulatory reporting requirements for product safety.

Must be able to relocate to the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area.

This position does require international travel up to 25-45% of the time.

Our firm is working with an established client company that has a need for a Director of Site Operations for a clinic in Northern California.

The ideal candidate is someone with strong leadership experience as a RN (perhaps a Nursing Director) , mid level provider or perhaps someone with a background in healthcare administration or even better �. a clinician with a Masters in healthcare administration including leadership experience . It is preferred the candidate has been working in a facility that offers a variety of services. The candidate must be proficient in the use of EMR. The successful candidate should also know how to create meaningful reports on how the clinic is doing as you will be accountable for P&L performance of the clinic.

This clinic offers a variety of ancillary services including physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, vision care, pharmacy, health coaching, disease management and EAP services. Your direct report would be the Regional Medical Director.

The ideal candidate should be competent and proficient using EMR, e-scheduling systems, practice management systems, and technology tools to be able to enforce and ensure efficient operations and identify issues or gaps.

We are looking for someone Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Occupational Health. The ideal candidate is someone with clinical experience in Family Medicine, , Internal Medicine, Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care, or Occupational health settings. The successful candidate should also have at least 3 years management/ leadership experience in any of these work settings. We will consider a MD or DO.

Your time between clinical and administrative work would be split 50/50. You will have a team of 20 employees consisting of a RN Manager, Clinic Director and a team of NPs, PAs and more. This clinic provides acute and episodic care to a designated adult patient population. This clinic will be implementing EMR and primary care. Demonstrated skill using EMR is a must. It is very important you have a business acumen, strong communication skills, ability to mentor and develop others and know how to put together a meaningful report to our client's leadership team. Demonstrated business and financial acumen is required to ensure the cost effective operation of health services to optimize financial performance. In this position you will also consult with subject matter experts internally and externally (e.g legal, firm's employee relations department, Department of health)
