Manages all employees involved in medical records coding/abstracting. Provides direction for all hospital coding activities audits education and productivity standards required to reach unbilled targets at all hospitals.Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.   MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 3-5 years of progressive Medical Record supervision. 5 years of inpatient and outpatient coding experience. Experience with electronic medical records and advanced software skills.   PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : 6 years as a supervisor in an acute care Health Information Management Department with demonstrated leadership communication and managerial skills.
